Level 2 Beginners Jewellery Manufacturing Diploma - 7 September 2020 (12 Weeks)
This accredited course is aimed at complete beginners so no previous experience is required.
The Level 2 Jewellery Manufacturing Diploma Course is a practical-based class allowing you to gain hands-on experience that is fundamental to learning the techniques required in jewellery manufacture.
You will have your own bench and access to all the tools and equipment in our professional jewellery studio to create an exciting jewellery education experience.
By the end of this course you will have acquired a comprehensive set of jewellery skills, and making professional quality finished jewellery pieces, that will give you confidence to take your career to the next level.
We provide all the basic materials you require for the duration of the course. At the end of the level 2 diploma course studens exhibit their work in the diploma exhibition at Barovic Jewellers.
COURSE CONTENT: You will learn skills and techniques whilst working on the projects you complete during the course which include:
Filing, Sawing, Drilling, Soldering, Piercing, Polishing, Annealing, Marking Out and Technical Drawing, Hammering, Texturing, Forming and Shaping, Engraving, Stone Setting, Finishing, Wire and Chain Making and the use of various tools and machines
DURATION The course runs 5 days a week for 12 weeks

NEXT STEPS: After completing this qualification you can continue your training on our Level 3 Jewellery Manufacture and Business Diploma. We also have short courses available.
